“Seeing” color can be simple or complicated, fun or frustrating, obvious or tricky. It is a huge part of choosing fabrics.

Bright yellow-orange makes me happy, and one of my goals for my next quilt is to create another black and white quilt that makes me smile when I look at it. Should I use yellow-orange? I’m not sure yet. I’m not smiling, yet either, but I hope to be soon. What goals do you have when you make a quilt?
